When my name was called as America's Junior National Teenager, I was in total shock. I couldn't believe that my dream had come true. My mom won Miss SC National Teenager when she was 16 and I had always wanted to be like her. Two years ago I won Miss Georgia Preteen National Teenager and went to the national pageant really hoping to win. I won the Supermodel with Style award and got 3rd runner up. I was disappointed but I had done my best. In March I competed in the Georgia Junior Teenager pageant and won the state title. I continued with my community service and totally focused on the National pageant. My mom and I worked very hard to get me ready. She and I left for Nashville and I practiced all week with the other contestants. I had fun and made some great friends that I still keep in touch. I saw several of my friends at the New York trip and it was so much fun to see them and spend some time with them.
"With God all things are possible" Matthew 19: 26. This is my favorite quote and with God's help and hard work, my dream came true. I am so grateful to represent such a fine pageant. I would encourage all girls to work towards your dreams. They can and will come true.
